Options
This weekend was, again, a bit difficult. Trying to eat dinner at a time that my friends eat, so we may eat together, as well as scheduling my pills 12-hours apart on a full stomach, is always a challenge.
I've gotten into the habit on weekends on eating a second supper, usually around 9 or 10 pm. This is much smaller than my original supper, as I'm generally not hungry, but still must eat enough to cushion the 20 or so pills jumping down my stomach. Luckily, the medical marijuana allows me some breathing room, and helps to calm my stomach enough that I can eat a small supper and take my pills.
In fact, here's a poem I wrote about my little pills a few years ago:
PillsPlagued by the plague-
Eating me up,
Devouring me whole.
Where did it start?
Where will it end?
Probably with ...
Pills, pills, pills, pills
Pills, pills, pills, pills
Vitamins, abstinence,
food, sustenance,
sex, dating,
honesty confused.

work that bod,
pump that iron -
immune depletion?
Lose weight, look trim -

Hello!My husband was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in October of 2000. His oncologist put him on Marinol for his appetite and nausea, and we had some success with it. He did get headaches from the high, as you've stated. Usually I gave him Marinol on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and conventional anti-emetics the rest of the days. We had not been told it needed to be titrated. We lived in California at the time, and in Marin county, close to San Francisco. We thought that because there were so many cannabis clubs that he'd be able to smoke, but we had a very hard time finding a doctor willing to prescribe it. We were even surprised at how unwilling the doctors were to prescribe the Marinol. I look forward to reading your posts in the future.Hugs,Heather

you all are a bunch of potheadsyou need to get off of marijuana and stick to medical purposes only for this drug. smoking marijuana only hurts your body and puts tar on your lungs. therefore you are all fuck sticks
