Oh my, do I remember the day that my doc would finally give me something to help me sleep...he'd made me wait a month for a sleep test before he'd give me anything. ARGHH.
I was soooo grateful for anything, I was going to sleep.
Well he gave me elavil and it did nothing, 3 days go by, and my DO rx's Ambien and I slept...Heaven. There was more of a challenge to keep sleeping, but what heaven that first night was.

We are headed out of town next week to be with my stepdaughter as she grads HS and staying with her sis & family. Both daughters and the husband of the older one have been dx'd bipolar, since we've seen them. They've had hard times adjusting to meds, and esp when teh husband quit taking his meds and walkd out on teh family twice. But I think they're levelled off and doing ok. They have 3 little ones, 3, 2 & 7 mos. That'd set me off balance (I am a proud mom of my one and only Jen (19)..tho I love my other girls as if my own and we're now raising my stepson since 9/1 who is 19.
