Relax, It's Just Anthrax
The "Relax, It's Fedex" slogan can be interpreted in a whole new way after the news that deadly germs are regularly shipped via FedEx "right alongside the books, gourmet foods and birthday presents." I saw this story tonight and couldn't believe it.
"Last month, a FedEx truck carrying five boxes of samples of anthrax, flu, tuberculosis, salmonella and E. coli collided with a car in Winnipeg. None of the dangerous germs escaped."
Is that what they call a "close one"? It's good to know the fate of millions of people is just a car accident away.
Here are a couple possible slogans for all those courier companies out there:
"We Deliver Germs Faster, So Terrorists Don't Have To"
... or ...
"Fast. Reliable. Contagious."
Catchy, no?
