My First Hello

Hello there to all. This is my first post and I am sure it is more formal than the rest will be in the future. I thought I would start by saying a small blurb about me and my situation. I see that in the future of posting on my diary, there will be alot of referring to "pasttimes" to explain what I experienced and what brings me to be the person I am today. Thanks to all that took the time to read my post and thank you Tracy for being so helpful while I enter this new world of Health Diaries!

I am a 34 yr old fm that had a FVFG (Free Vascular Fibula Graft), 1/04 by Dr Urbaniak at Duke due to my AVN in my left hip. My AVN progressed to a 4b before I knew I had it! Sneaky disease! Something personal about me...I am majoring in Psychology and LOVE baseball! AVN has us challenged but many are all in this together! AVN is something that we can always learn more about, especially by the diverse experiences . If we focus on the happy moments as they come by, moment by moment, then we will all have an easier time in dealing with this sneaky, frustrating disease! I am always wanting to help and learn so if you want to post something, please, feel free!
