Does NAET Work?

Because I had tested badly for the bandaid, I decided to try an experiment before I cleared what I thought would be adhesives. I put a bandaid on my stomach for 2 days so I could see the red rash and figured I could do the same thing with a similar bandaid after I cleared to see if it worked. My own little NAET experiment!

So after two days I took the bandaid off and there was nothing there! How could that be if I hadn't cleared it yet? I couldn't believe I didn't have a rash!! Believe me, in the past it has gotten so bad that I had even purchased special tape for cuts, etc.

I took the bandaid in to retest and I was no longer allergic! Apparently I cleared it when I cleared latex/rubber. Amazing!

Even though I did believe all of this was working because I am slowly getting better, to actually see something like that was pretty exciting!

And I'm no longer allergic to mercury after all these years! The Mineral Mix, Mercury, and Amalgam cleared. Guess I could even get a tetanus shot now if I needed one.

The neurotransmitters and noradrenaline didn't clear, so I treated for that separately yesterday. No restricted diet, no gloves, and no set hours. (It's the little things!) I'm going back tomorrow to see how it did.

I also tested some more products, mostly hair things so I can weed out the ones that may be causing a problem. The ones I failed that I really want to keep using I suppose I could clear separately later, but for now I think I'll just use what I know is O.K.

I've been reading faithfully Elizabeth's treatment updates for the past month. In the mean time I have been getting treated with the newer version JMT and it's working amazingly. I was avoiding the items for 25 hours anyhow just to ensure I'd pass. However I was told that it's not necessary anymore with the new JMT treatment method. I have passed 8 treatments in a row with no fail. I'm eating eggs again that I avoided for 15 years!!!! I'm 34 years old and feel like I'm a teenager again. I lucked out with my practitioner as he was trained in 1999 for NAET and JMT training in 2000. After reading about Elizabeth's problems with her first practitioner I strongly suggest to people to go to someone who has been practicing for a while. Anyhow best of luck to everyone and keep updating Elizabeth we are out here waiting for your posts!! :)

Hi Elizabeth,
I am glad to find your health diary and learn about your NAET experience. How many treatment did you have? what is the cost? Have you tried to find insurance to cover? Where is Lisa's office located? I wonder if I can find an experienced practitioner in Dallas, or Pheonix area, otherwise, I have to fly and stay in motel to get treatment.
How do you feel now? Does any allergy bother you? Do you feel any anxiety or panic attach any more? Hope you well. from Tracy

Hi Tracy~ If you go to naet.com you can find practitioners in your area. I checked and there are some in both Dallas and Phoenix. Just pick one with the most and most recent experience.
My insurance doesn't cover it but I think some companies cover acupuncture so you could check that.
I'm not even sure how many treatments I've had, but I've been doing it for eight or nine months now so it's quite a few. I was allergic to a lot though so you might only have to go a few times. Everything is pretty good now except for outside stuff. What's out there constantly changes with the weather and wind so I'll have to keep doing it periodically.
The anxiety disorder is better. The acupuncture also helps with that.
Good luck! I'll be happy to answer any other questions.

Hi Elizabeth,
My 2 daughters (age 17 months and 4 years)and I are presently receiving NAET treatments and they are working really well. The 17 month old has been 'colicky' since birth and the 4 year old had a lot of ear infections as a baby and started to show signs of hyperactivity. I sent blood tests away and found that she was sensitive to almost all foods. Thankfully 3 months ago we found a NAET practicioner who has been performing little miracles on all of us. Unfortunately we still have so many treatments ahead of us.
I was just wondering what the JMT is?? I have not heard of that technique yet.
Could you let me know thanks.
Also, the only frustrating thing is the people who don't believe that this is working. or the mother in law who refuses to watch what she feeds the girls.
Tracy

Hi Tracy,
I don't know a lot about JMT...just what I've read on the net. If you go to this post (http://www.healthdiaries.com/blogs/parentsfault/archives/2004/11/jmt_jaffemellor_technique.html ) there is a link to the site and you can read up on it. It is so great that you are doing this when your kids are little! Lisa treats a lot of kids both for allergies and autism. I know how frustrating it can be with other people. I don't mention it much to people I know because they just look at you like you may have lost your mind or may just have an extremely low IQ to fall for something so silly! LOL Hope it keeps working for you!

Hi Elizabeth,
I just started treating with naet yesterday, I have hives, major sinus problems, headaches and anxiety. I am hoping this is going to work for me. The procedure seemed so silly it seemed like nothing really was being done she just put this vile in my hand then rolled this massager up and down my spine a few times and massaged certain points on my body with a vibrating massager. Then she had me lay there for 20 minutes with the vile in my hand. Supposedly the allergen in the vile is my brain(huh?) How can you be allergic to your own brain? and why does it look like just water in the vile? Does this sound like a normal treatment process?
Thanks, Jennifer

hi, im flying to another state to have naet done....im hoping some of my health issues are related to allergies. can someone tell me if they had positive results with naet.

thanks.

Hi, just wanted to say I have been getting NAET treatments for a few weeks. I am almost finished with the basic 15. I like 2 more. I am allergic to over a hundred things mostly foods, herbs, vitamins, and most of the prescription medications I have to take. I am beginning to think this is going to work but I sure would like to hear from others who have had success with NAET.

Thanks,
Lonia

Lonia~ As I said in my most recent post (June 2006) I no linger think that the year and a half I spent doing NAET was worth it. I still don't feel well after all of those horrible clearings and spending thousands of dollars. I am really kicking myself now over the wasted time. I should have focused on one important thing. Why do I have all of the allergies? I was just attacking the symptoms and not the cause. I do think you can clear some allergies with NAET but I don't think it lasts. It may be fine if you just have a couple of allergies to cure, but if you're having a major problem I do think you should try to get to the cause. Right now I am listening to Dr. Robert Marshall's radio program at healthline.cc. Check it out if you get a chance.

Elizabeth, I am concerned that you have given up on the benefits of NAET. I think your band-aid experience mentioned above is not a fluke. I have a 2.5 year old son that I have beeing doing NAET for since he was 9 mos old. I live in Austin, TX. I agree that NAET alone - it is NOT enough. We work with both a NAET specialist as well as a MD Nutritionist/Internal Medicine doctor. The MD believes in healing the body with healthy foods and supplements. My son has benefited tremendously from the combination of these two methodologies. My whole family has! I believe that it is not enough to go get cleared with NAET unless you are also willing to eat a healthy 98% of the time which includes as many organic foods as possible, no refined sugar, minimal grains (not because of the Atkins diet trend, but because grains are hard for the body to digest), and no trans or partially hydrogenated fats (but do eat plenty of good fats). Those are the biggies. It was it critical for my son to deal with his allergies (NAET) and heal his gut (nutrition and supplements) at the same time in order to eliminate the bloody, mucousy stools that began when he was 4 wks old. My hope is that my sharing will inspire you! Summer - Austin, TX

Summer,

I have been desperately looking for help for my 4 kids and myself with our extensive food allergies. We also live in Austin and have been doing some NAET but the cost is killing us. I am also supplementing and using some enzymes. I really need a doctor or some medical professional that can help pull all of this together for me. Also, a recommendation for a NAET practitioner. Your posting was over a year ago but I am praying that you still will get this! Barbara - Austin,TX

I live in Chicago and take my son to an NAET practitioner here and it works wonders. Have you searched the NAET Web site?

Rebecca,

Can you pls email me with the information for the NAET practitioner in CHicago whom you see for your son?

Thanks, Andrea

Rebecca or Andrea,

I also live in Chicago. Can you please email me the name of the NAET person that you use?

Thanks,
Jen

Barbara -

I know a doctor in the Austin area who does NAET. She's really good and would probably be willing to work something out for your whole family. Give me an email and I'll get you her information. vickie@artistech.net
