NAET

It's been almost a month since I posted. I had to buy a new computer after mine became infected. The bank called and informed me they had two credit card charges that looked suspicious...totaling $22,000!! I think I clicked on something I shouldn't have and "they" managed to get all my information. I received an email that looked like a confirmation of an order for around $400. I panicked thinking maybe someone had gotten my credit card so I opened it. By the time I realized what it was I think they had already downloaded information because that's when all the trouble started. I am usually so careful but this one was very very clever!

So what's new on the NAET front?

I've cleared enzymes, dust mites and carob. I took a lot of samples to check foods that I want to eat.....strawberries, blueberries, avocado, goji berries, cacao nibs, etc......all O.K. I seem to be getting stronger.

I cleared more chemicals, black pepper and meat on the machine. It was great to get that done so I can eat the buffalo again.

Things are going well with my new eating plans. I'm eating a lot more vegetables and fruit. I have to watch the fruit though...don't want too much sugar because of hypoglycemia and I don't think too much, even if only fruit is good. We bought a juicer and love it! I sent one back about five years ago because I thought it was so much work for little output and very hard to clean. But I LOVE this one and it's pretty easy to clean. And I'm a lot more motivated now.

I have to say though that juicing is a full time job! It takes a lot of fruit and vegetables to do it every day, and we're trying to do organic. So we have to buy a few things that we use a lot every few days....like apples, carrots, celery, and the store is not close. Then you have to wash and put away. The Evert Fresh bags are a lifesaver though. Don't think we could do it otherwise. I'm doing a carrot, celery and apple juice in the morning, and a tomato, cucumber, celery, and lime drink in the afternoon. I never thought I would be able to get a carrot juice down but it's actually pretty good. I have a few juicing books so need to start experimenting more. I've used kale, parsley, lemon, watermelon, cantelope, and beet(didn't like!)

The goji berries are great and the cacao nibs are....."different". O.K., they don't taste like dark chocolate to me. They're very bitter. But knowing how good they supposedly are for you helps, and I must admit that after I ate a handful I felt pretty good!

So I have basically cut out all grains, pasta, rice, and popcorn...I miss popcorn! I was already not eating dairy or sugar. I'll still eat the buffalo, eggs, fish (mainly Vital Choice salmon), and am adding mostly vegetable juice and fresh fruit and vegetables. I just hope I can stick to it!

Hi Elizabeth, I stumbled on your blog while doing a search for NAET and panic. I'm very interested in hearing how NAET is helping your panic attacks.

After 14 years of panic attacks, mine had finally calmed down for a year. For a few years, Paxil stabilized me, but a number of years ago, I went off of that and used acupuncture and mind games to abate symptoms. Last year, I had almost none, and those that did occur were mild and fairly easily controlled.

Then came the ruptured appendix last March. Out of the hospital for a week, I returned to ER because I couldn't tell if I was having a panic attack or an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. God moves me whether I have the right idea or not. It turned out that my potassium level had taken a plunge and an abscess was forming on the surgery site. Back in the hospital for a few more days. While lying there, it started again. And it hasn't taken a real break since.

I located a NAET practitioner about an hour and a half from my home. Had my first treatment for B vitamin and for suffocation 2 days ago. I had a barely discernable test result for panic and anxiety, but "suffocation" resulted in a significant drop on the little spring loaded tester. Things were great for almost 24 hours; despite obsessive thoughts that I was getting asthma (my biggest fear and my allergies are worse this year), my breathing remained easy. I looked forward to tackling the rest next appointment. I won't be able to do pollen until after the first killing frost.

Unfortunately, I got a panic twinge this morning and then full blown chest tightness, gas pains and light headedness this morning and all afternoon.

I'm wondering how helpful you've found the NAET. I very much would like this to work.

Are you planning to treat the popcorn, grain, dairy etc. allergies with the NAET? Have the clearings for meat, etc. stayed?

Your blogs are a blessing, as well as of great interest, to me and, I'm certain, to many others. I look forward to hearing how you're doing! Judy S.
