Chest Injury

I'm beginning to feel like I have a little black cloud following me around. I finished the antibiotics for the bronchitis and was just about back to normal with the dilated eyes. Then I fell coming down the stairs.

I was carrying a large box and holding on with my right hand, but I couldn't see in front and missed the last step to the landing. I fell forward and slammed into the edge of the box. I just sat there in shock for a minute and my husband came running, (noisy crash.) I didn't think it was too bad at first, but it happened on Sunday and today I still can't take a good deep breath.

Tuesday I decided I should probably go to the doctor. (We had seen the last ER where the girl in the wreck was fine and then dropped dead from internal bleeding!) Who knows what's going on in there?? LOL.

So the doctor said it could be a fracture but maybe not and really no need to get an x-ray because there's nothing they can do anyway. So I'm basically just pretty miserable trying to breath. I think I probably just did some major muscle damage, etc. Don't think it's a broken rib because it's not a sharp pain and I can sleep.

On the eye front the dilation wore off around day twelve. On day fourteen I had a message on my phone from the doctor. "Just wanted to see how your eyes are doing and if that dilation has finally worn off." Gee, thanks for that. Where were you for the last two weeks?
