Remake of the Sybil movie
There is supposed to be a movie coming out based on the old "Sybil" movie-- the one with Joanne Woodward and Sally Field. Sybil is based on a book by Flora Rheta Schreiber, about a lady that had something like 16 personalities or so. It originally came out about 30 years ago. Well like all classics that shouldn't be messed with, someone has decided to remake it....
Here is a link about the cinematography of the new movie, with a couple of pictures. I originally heard that it was supposed to come out in February of this year on CBS, now I hear that it may come out for May sweeps.
The original Sybil, by the way, is also available from Amazon-- it came out last year in a special DVD set to celebrate the 30th year since its release.
Personally, we like the movie. Despite the fact that for years and years, our family teased us by calling us "Sybil" even though they had no idea we really did have DID.
Hopefully the new movie will be good as well.
If anyone out there has ANY information or updates as to when the remake will be coming on tv, PLEASE let us know!

Thanks for the link; while I think making it time with May sweeps is stupid, I understand why they did it. They'll get good ratings.
I hope it's as good as the original, which I just finished watching yet again. Sally Field was amazing.

for a very long time, before keepers were exposed to the internet and other multiples the movie Sybil was their only clue that they were not alone, that someone else had the same feelings and "people" that they did.
I don't know how good this remake will be but the original was fantastic we thought
john for keepers
