Weight Watchers today...I'll keep it...
So I got a link sent to me that has pictures of old recipe cards from the WW program in 1974. http://www.candyboots.com/wwcards.html
They are really funny, and more than a little scary. It makes you think about dieting, and how it has changed. My leader says in the 70's they had to eat liver. I can guarantee I would not be on WW if I had to eat liver. One must draw the line somewhere. But I like having a choice between plans now...this week I'm doing flex instead of Core since I'm going out of town this weekend to visit friends. No clue what I'll be eating so better to count points. Plus I feel like I need to "return to my roots" of counting points once in a while anyway. Keeps me honest.
I haven't weighed in since April 5, when I lost 1.5 lbs. I didn't weigh in this past Tuesday, so I'm going tonight. Hopefully I will be less again.

Monday, April 4
Feeling pretty good today, but I haven't had lunch. At school I only get one shot at lunch, and if I miss it, that's it. Love all the studies about eating every so many hours, but it just doesn't happen. Don't think that would work so well for me anyway...I'm a quantity person when it comes to food. I might try to eat my soup after school but as of right now I'm not that hungry. There's so much going on....work at school, construction at school, money issues at home...hard to focus on weight, but even still I have had a pretty good week. I did have dessert at Dads yesterday but that was the only issue. I think I busted my bonus points, but not by much! This weekend I tried something new...I used my new blender (OK, it was a wedding gift I had yet to use) and made a fat-free yogurt, fat-free milk, frozen strawberries smoothie. YUMMY. My dog wanted it in the worst way. Rats that's making me hungry now. Maybe I'll make some 94% f/f popcorn (I always keep some emergency food on hand at work) to tide me over until I get home.
