Wow. I had no idea that Pomegranate juice was so beneficial to my health. As a young woman I'm definitely going to incorporate Pomegranate juice into my diet, especially since it helps fight breast cancer and osteoarthritis. Thanks for the tip.

Bought my first 2 Liter carton of Pomegranate & Blueberry juice today, and it's yummy! No sugar added, so I am looking forward to continuing to buy it and drink it, and secretly knowing that I am healthier for it, and could possibly be preventing any possible future risks!
Thank you for posting this, as I have shared with all my family and friends!

I've been eating Pomegranates ever since I was little. I really never knew how beneficial they were for you up until about a month ago. I started buying the cartons of juice now and I absolutely love it! It's more expensive than any ordinary juice; orange, grape, etc. but I think it's well worth it! I've let my friends try it out but they ALL don't seem to like it! They all complain that it's too bitter. But thanks for this.

Don't get too excited. The benefits of pomegranate juice need to be weighed up against the extremely high sugar content.
Just one glass is over 100% of the calories you should be getting from sugar in a day.
Just because it's fruit sugar doesn't mean it's not diabetes waiting to happen if you start drinking 2 litres of the stuff a day.

Eat the fruit: fruit juices deprive you of the necessary fibers for breaking down sugars. If you really want to be super healthy. This is what I heard from a health-freak diabetic...

Buy and eat the pomegranates themselves, just don't drink the juice. You'll avoid all the extra sugar.
