Consumer Reports has a new blog called "Consumer Reports on Safety." They'll be reporting on consumer safety hazards, including food hazards. From their latest issue on the spinach issue:
This ongoing issue highlights glaring problems in the way food is tested and regulated in the United States. Consumers Union, the non-profit publisher of Consumer Reports, has long recommended establishing a single federal agency to set up-to-date food-safety standards, enforce them, and carry out safety research.

Wow, this is going to be a very interesting, informative blog. I definitely believe that it will do some service to all consumers out there, especially those who don't have first-hand knowledge on some of the risks they could encounter every day.
