Diet and Rosacea Symptoms

The National Rosacea Society is asking rosacea sufferers to fill out a questionnaire on the effects of diet on rosacea symptoms. You can fill it out and mail it or email it to them by October. (survey)

A lot of people with acne rosacea have had good results by modifying their diets. Wholehealthmd.com has a good article on food and vitamins that may help reduce the symptoms of rosacea.

In managing rosacea, omega-3 fatty acids are beneficial because they reduce inflammation and help regulate nutrients in cells. Omega-3 fatty acids are also an essential ingredient in producing prostaglandins, hormone like substances that stimulate contraction of blood vessels.
