Happy Holidays and Happy Eating!

Filed under Food and Health | Comments (0)

The holidays are upon us and for many people that means two tons of food are also upon their plates. How does one make it through to January without gaining weight? Here is a sensible eating plan from one source. A quote:

"Eat the calories you want but not the ones you don't need. Avoid unhealthy snacking. Think ahead and choose where you are going to consume your calories. For example, if you have a big holiday meal planned, decided ahead of time where you want to consume your calories," Horgan said in a prepared statement.

But remember, if you do end up gaining weight during the holidays, it's not the end of the world. Just get right back to eating healthy for the New Year. The important thing is to enjoy time with family and friends.

I hope everyone has a happy and healthy holiday season!
