There is some concern that Reese's Peanut Butter Cups may be tainted with Salmonella as part of the contaminated peanut butter fiasco. One woman says she got sick for a week after eating a King Size Reese's Peanut Butter Cup:
"I'm not trying to start a mass hysteria situation, but I did eat a King Size Reese's Peanut Butter Cup product almost three weeks ago," wrote Althea of Hialeah, Fla. "I got sick with diarrhea later on that same evening and it was an ongoing thing for almost a week ... I couldn't sit down for more than 10 minutes without having to go to the toilet."
Hershey, makers of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, says: "All of our products are safe to consume." The FDA is investigating.

you know thats weird my son eats those alot and he is sick now went to hospital with fever diarrhea and vomiting and its been ongoing for a week now he is only 3 and its hard on him

umm i have a 3 year old niece and she loves Reese's she was at my house one day and found some. and now all i hear is "Aunt Jamie me want Reese's" so that goes to so that 3 year olds can decide to eat them.

I have a better suggestion, why not look around your own house for the cause of your food borne illness, and try to get at least one fact straight about it.
It would certainly be a sad thing to see a child who never tasted chocolate or had an ice cream cone.

I ate a peanut butter cup i found under the toilet and shited for 2 years straight.
just for the woman who had a king size resees.. i would think that if your stomach is sensitive enough or if the reeses is combined with other non agreeable foods, it wouldn't be surprising at all if you got sick with diahrea for a week, or more. don't eat anything king size- heads up for all you non-diahrea- loving people out there.
I ate two peanut butter cups and two days later I've had an upset stomach since! It keeps growling, cramping and I have loose stools. Help!
