Sweet Green Juice Recipe
Filed under Juicing | Comments (5)
Yield 1 Quart or more depending on juicer used.
1 green or red apple (or both if making juice for two)
1/2 head of Romaine lettuce
1 cucumber
3 stalks of celery
Handful of parsley
1/2 large carrot or one small carrot (optional)
1/2 clove of garlic (optional)
Apples cut and cored. Do not juice apple seeds as they contain naturally forming arsenic. Best to juice the Romaine first. Juice the greens slowly. If juicing garlic with a centrifugal juicer, put the garlic in with the green so the juicer catches it better. For a deeper green juice you can add a few kale or spinach leaves. Enjoy!
