Paul Gleason Dies of Mesothelioma

Paul Gleason, a veteran of 60 movie roles including the detention-dispensing school principal in 1985's The Breakfast Club, died in a Burbank, Calif., hospital Saturday of mesothelioma, a rare form of lung cancer linked to asbestos, said his wife, Susan Gleason. He was 67. (people.aol.com)

Lung Cancer Comes Out of the Closet

Lung cancer is finally emerging from a big, and very confining, closet. The willingness of Peter Jennings and Dana Reeve to go public with their personal stories deserves far more than admiration and sympathy. Gerald McRaney Discharged After Lung Cancer Surgery
