Risk of Acrylamide in Food Questioned by Experts

Acrylamides, a family of chemicals recently found in cooked foods that is known to cause cancer in rats, pose little threat to humans, an expert panel has reported.

People do not eat enough of the chemicals in their daily diet to risk the genetic damage that can lead to cancer, the committee of experts said. (ABC.net.au)
