Thalidomide Approved for Bone-Marrow Cancer

Thalidomide received federal approval Thursday for treatment of bone-marrow cancer, marking the further rehabilitation of a drug originally banned more than 40 years ago after it caused thousands of birth defects. (USATODAY)

i was diginosed with myeloma in 2002,after a fall at the workplace i had some treatment but not of this new drugs thalidomide which seem very good. now i am having pain in the joint of my thigh and hip bone which is very painful and my apetite is cut and am of a bit when i am in a conversation. my new doctor now told me that i have infection which he already get rid off and i will start this new medication today. is there a help for me from this powerful medication.
