Fight Prostate Cancer With Pomegranate Juice

A daily glass of pomegranate juice showed potential for slowing the growth of prostate cancer in a small study but more evidence is needed before doctors recommend it, U.S. scientists said Saturday. (MSNBC)

New Leukemia Drug Approved

U.S. regulators gave accelerated approval Wednesday to a new targeted therapy to treat people with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML).

The drug, Sprycel (generic name dasatinib), was also given regular approval to treat adults with Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), a more serious form of leukemia. (excite.com)
