Eating Disorders and the College Student, Anorexia and Cholesterol
10 percent of college-age women have a clinical or near clinical eating disorder and because of the secretive nature characteristic of these disorders many go unreported.
New research suggests that people with the eating disorder anorexia nervosa are more likely to attempt suicide if their cholesterol levels are low.
