Recreation of 1918 Flu: Hope or Horror?
There's a chilling article in the Washington Post about the recreation of the 1918 Flu Virus (which just so happens to be a bird flu virus):
We have brought back to life an agent of near-biblical destruction ... Not only has the virus been physically re-created, but its entire genome has also now been published for the whole world, good people and very bad, to see. (Washington Post)
