Protein May Explain Heart Risk in Diabetics, New Treatments for Alzheimer's Symptoms

New Pre-Diabetes Formula, Pancreas Stem Cells for Diabetes

"The U.S. government has adopted the American Diabetes Association's revised formula for evaluating pre-diabetes, the term for borderline blood sugar readings that are likely to become full-blown diabetes without intervention."

"A team at Toronto University found immature cells in the pancreas of adult mice that were able to develop into cells that produce insulin."
