Cholesterol Levels Fall in Elderly

Americans are heavier now than 40 years ago but have lower cholesterol levels mainly because of the introduction of statin drugs in the late 1980s. Still, doctors responding to the new government findings say keeping the heart healthy requires more than just popping cholesterol-lowering pills. (Washington Post)
