Uterine Artery Embolization for Uterine Fibroids

Uterine fibroids, which are benign tumorous growths on the uterus, occur in approximately 20% of women of reproductive age and as many as 50% of women over 35. According to a new report by Millennium Research Group, a growing proportion of European fibroid sufferers are now treated with uterine artery embolization. (WebWire)
