Welcome to My Lap-Band Journey!

Hello all, and welcome to the first Health Diaries journal discussing the adjustable gastric band, also referred to as the Lap-Band. The AGB is an implanted device used to restrict the capacity one's stomach. There is no gastric re-routing, no stomach cutting, no stapling, no malabsorption and no dumping syndrome. It's a simple implant, and it's completely removable, although I don't recommend that!

I'll be posting a couple of times each week with as much information as I can compact into my posts. I will include pictures, links and personal observations for the benefit of anyone who cares to read.
