The holidays are upon us and for many people that means two tons of food are also upon their plates. How does one make it through to January without gaining weight?
Eat what you want but in moderation. Avoid snacking between meals. Before a big holiday meal, plan ahead and decide where you’re going to get most of your calories. For instance, if you’re really looking forward to a big slice of pie for dessert, eat less of the main meal. Because you’re planning ahead, you won’t end up eating a full meal and a huge dessert as well.
But remember, if you do end up gaining weight during the holidays, it’s not the end of the world. Just get right back to eating healthy for the New Year. The important thing is to enjoy time with family and friends.
