Welcome to Eat This!, a new collaborative Health Diaries blog focused on something we all love: food. We will post everything about food in relation to health, from folk remedies to recent studies. Food is more than just fuel for our bodies that keeps us going. It is closely tied to health and wellness. What we eat can make us sick or help us heal. It can sustain us and maintain us. It can give us energy or put us to sleep. Some food, like chocolate, can affect endorphins or brain chemicals. If we’re allergic to it, food can make us sick.
