Three months and nothing to do

Well I no longer have to worry about being in my office alone at work-I have been put on short term disability as of today as well as being referred to the Cleveland Clinic. My spine is deteroriating (forgive spelling) and I am flaring very badly.

Steve however is home from the hospital and doing well so that was incredible news and I am thrilled to announce that.

I will update more tommorow as tonite I am too emotional to think rationally.

Keep smiling :)

Thanks for keeping us in the loop. I'm so glad that Steve is home. That must have brought you great relief.

Twenty years ago my orthopoedist told me I had degenerative disk disease in my back. Well, it's two decades later, and I am still 5 foot, 2 and one quarter inches tall, the same as I was then. I remember being terrified at the time, remembering my horror when I first saw it on a medical report in black and white. I hadn't remembered him using those words when we talked in his office. I thought my life was over. But nothing ever became of it.

So my heart is with you. And let us know when your appointment is for the Cleveland Clinic so we can send you all the positive vibes we can.

Things have a way of working out. Have faith. Look at Steve. There are miracles all around us every day. I already know that I have benefited by them, since I met you just two months ago on line, and all the things you have helped me to get through since then have been miraculous. Steve's coming home makes the second miracle. And since things always come in threes, I guess it's about time you got your chance, don't you think? You've definitely earned it. I still can't get over how you survived being displace from your home for so long! How quickly we move from one crisis to the next, and still come up smiling in the end. Take care, rest up, and keep us posted. Hugs.
